ETF provider HANetf has appointed David O’Neill as CEO, HANetf EU.
O’Neill joined HANetf with over 16 years of experience in various roles in both Ireland and the UK. His most recent role was as executive director and chief operating officer at HAL Fund Services Ireland where he managed the day-to-day operations of a third-party management company offering Ucits and AIF management services.
Before his tenure at HAL Fund Services, David served as head of investment & fund services at the Asset Management Exchange, where he led a team overseeing the investment and operational functions of a diverse portfolio of funds across multiple platforms.

Earlier in his career, he held roles with Brookfield Renewable, AlbaCore Capital, and Knight Capital, where he was head of European institutional trading.
O’Neill commented: “ I’m looking forward to bringing my experience from other large asset management platforms and my knowledge of the Irish and EU regulatory environment to assist HANetf in growing its white label platform.”
