UK multi-asset fund sales fell 7% in second half of 2023

Multi-asset fund sales in the UK dropped 7% in the second half of last year despite a 2% rise in financial adviser sales.

The report from data and analytics firm ISS Market Intelligence, found that just over a quarter (28%) of fund managers in the UK experienced growth in multi-asset fund sales in the second half of the year.

Sales growth was strongest in Greater London and the south-west of England.

Despite the dip in the second half, multi-asset products nevertheless accounted for 70% of all fund sales in 2023 within the financial adviser channel.
