Alter Domus, a specialist administration provider, has partnered with a Californian software firm to boost servicing capabilities relating to real estate investors.
According to the fund administrator, it is working with Yardi to streamline global real estate operations and capture changes within the industry.
Anita Lyse, head of real estate at Alter Domus, said the technology partnership is primarily driven by the globalisation of real estate assets, which has resulted in more complex property investment structures and data management.
“Data quality is critical for effective asset servicing and administration across borders,” she said.
Alter Domus will use Yardi Debt Management, a module for accounting and reporting around loans, and Yardi Investment Management, which will streamline reporting for cross-border real estate investment structures.
Yardi, based in California, develops and supports investment management software specifically for the real estate industry.
Alter Domus has around $110 billion (€92.7 billion) of real estate assets under administration.
