Meghna has 15 years of rich experience as an economist macro strategist and investment professional across the asset management, insurance and pension industries.

Her last stint prior to joining Macrobond was a leadership role as the CIO of the Max Life Pension Fund in Mumbai. Her academia encompasses a Double Masters in Finance (MBA) and Economics (MA) and CFA level III candidate. Through the years her views have found prominence in various media channels.

Elijah Oliveros-Rosen, Chief Economist, Emerging Markets, S&P Global Ratings

Elijah Oliveros-Rosen is the Chief Economist for Emerging Markets at S&P Global Ratings. He forecasts the main macroeconomic variables for major countries in the region, which are used by S&P Global analysts during the ratings process. He also publishes work on the outlook for emerging economies, as well as on other topics pertaining to the region.

Alexis Roach, Emerging Markets Analyst, Payden & Rygel

Alexis Roach is a Senior Vice President in the Emerging Market Group focused on sovereign risk in Latin America and the Caribbean.
Before joining Payden & Rygel, Alexis worked as a Senior Macroeconomic Analyst at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York covering Latin American sovereigns as well as commodities. She also has previous experience at the World Bank and Organization of American States (OAS).

Alexis is a member of CFA Institute. She earned a MA degree with a concentration in Latin American Studies from Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies. She received a BA in International Relations from the University of Pennsylvania and studied abroad at Torcuato Di Tella University in Argentina. Alexis speaks Spanish fluently.

Nick Fitzpatrick, Editor, Funds Europe

Nick became editor of Funds Europe in May 2007, having previously been deputy editor on another financial title. He had previously spent seven years in financial journalist – most of that at FTBusiness – and three years in general news. He also worked as a researcher on the book ‘Great Parliamentary Scandals’ by Matthew Parris. He has a degree in Spanish and spent one year studying at the University of Havana.
