Wealth manager appoints COO

London-based wealth manager JM Finn has appointed Mark Haines as chief operating officer.

Finn is formerly of hedge fund Brewin Dolphin, where he held various change management roles and latterly was chief technology officer.

He has over 20 years’ experience across operations, technology and change.

Reporting to CEO Hugo Bedford, he will be responsible for business transformation and change and have the operations, IT and projects departments reporting into him.

Bedford said: “Mark’s arrival has already helped us put some more rigour and structure in place for the various strategic projects that are in flight and I’m certain his experience will serve us well as we look to continue enhancing our client proposition.”

The firm – which has funds under management and administration of £10.6 billion – also recently appointed Andrew Dunkin, previously of Investec Wealth & Investments, as head of projects.
