Standard Life and Fidelity partner for fund launch

Global asset managers Standard Life and Fidelity International are joining forces for the launch of a pension fund product.

The two firms have struck a strategic partnership designed to address what they describe as “the increasing need for product innovation in retirement solutions”.

The Standard Life Smoothed Return Pension Fund is aimed at “advised investors” approaching retirement and looking for investment vehicles that provide some “shelter from the daily uncertainty of investing”, according to a statement issued by the two firms.
