Wells Fargo AM adds FI sub-fund to multi-asset portfolio

Well Fargo Asset Management (WFAM) has added a fixed income sub-fund to its Luxembourg domiciled Worldwide Funds portfolio.

The launch of the Global Equity Enhanced Income (GEEI) fund brings the total number of sub-funds to 22.

According to WFAM, the Ucits fund vehicle will combine dividends from equities and premiums from selling options in a bid to deliver an annual distribution yield in excess of 6%.

It will invest in 60-80 high dividend stocks and will be registered across Europe, Hong Kong, Singapore and Korea, states WFAM.

The latest sub-fund launch comes on the back of two additional sub-funds launched earlier this year that were added to the Worldwide Funds (Lux) portfolio – the Global Small Cap Equity fund and the Small Cap Innovation fund.
