Macquarie Asset Management has hired Gabriele Duesberg as a managing director to support its energy transition infrastructure capabilities across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (Emea).

Duesberg will across sectors including electrification of transport, waste management, and biofuels. She will also assist in the decarbonisation of the firm’s utilities investments across Emea.

She joins from JP Morgan where she spent 16 years heading up investment banking activities in the Emea region, including transactions across renewable energy, power, and utilities.

“We hope to harness Gabriele’s many years of expertise in the region’s infrastructure sector to help tackle these important challenges and identify new opportunities for our investment partners.”
