Lombard Odier has partnered with AXA Investment Management (IM) to launch the PrivilEdge-AXA IM Disruptive Innovations fund, offering investors access to developed and emerging companies with disruptive business models in the digital space.
The fund focuses on connected lifestyle, smart enterprise and technology enablers, in particular, and consists of 50-70 stocks.
The fund is managed by Tom Riley, Jeremy Gleeson and Pauline Llandric and is built using fundamental research, analysis, examination of balance sheet strength and of valuation and liquidity of the propositions.
The fund also integrates sustainability criteria into the process and excludes high-risk sectors.
“The PrivilEdge – AXA IM Disruptive Innovations offers investors exposure to companies at the very cutting edge of their industries, and the opportunity to invest in the long-term growth of companies with a distinct competitive advantage,” said Stéphane Monier, chief investment officer of Lombard Odier’s private bank.
“Disruptive innovations play a key role in the transition towards a circular, lean, inclusive and clean, or CLIC economy, by enabling a service-based and more efficient model.”
