Capital Group adds to European client relations team

US-based Capital Group has appointed former BlackRock employee Amy Halford to the new role of vice-president and senior manager in its global client services team.

Based in London, she will manage client relations across the company’s European financial intermediary and institutional client base.

At BlackRock, she was a director in client service management, overseeing the company’s UK-based intermediary, advisory and discretionary manager clients.

Halford’s previous experience includes client relationship roles at UBS Global Asset Management and Seven Investment Management.

Gavin Lilburn, regional operations director for Europe and Asia, said: “She brings a track record of strategy development, expertise in client relationship management and many years of industry experience, enabling us to strengthen our client service.”
