AXA Investment Managers has received an Economic Dividends for Gender Equality (EDGE) Move certification from the EDGE Certified Foundation.
Launched at the World Economic Forum in 2011, the foundation aims to measure, accelerate, and certify gender and intersectional equity in the workplace.
The certification has been granted in recognition of AXA IM creating a gender-equitable workplace.
AXA IM achieved the EDGE Assess certification in 2018 before acquiring the EDGE Move certificate, the second of three existing certifications.
As part of the certification process, AXA IM had to commit to an impactful action plan which showcases how the company will continue bridging the gap in gender-equality across its talent pipeline.
Once implemented, the firm can achieve the top attainable level in EDGE Lead.
The Lead category details that an organisation must have successfully achieved gender balance across the talent pipeline, gender pay equity, have an effective framework of policies and practices, and be an inclusive workplace culture for both the male and females.
Frédéric Clément, global head of human resources at AXA IM, said: “We are proud of this new level of EDGE certification, as we always aim to genuinely act on our convictions and make progress towards inclusion and diversity.
“We acknowledge we have to remain humble as there is of course still room for improvement, and we’ll continue to set clear and quantifiable goals.”
AXA IM made a double hire in mid-June 2022 adding to its global credit team, adding a portfolio manager and solutions strategist.
