Alfi elects Jean-Marc Goy as new chairperson

Jean-Marc Goy has been elected chairperson of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (Alfi).

Goy will focus intially on the development of the Alfi Ambition Paper, which outlines the association’s vision for 2025-2030 and is expected to be finalised in early 2024.

Under Goy’s leadership, Alfi will parlty prioritise inclusivity and representation in the Luxembourg investment fund sector. To ensure broader representation, Alfi recently increased the number of board directors from 24 to 29, which it said reflected the diversity of stakeholders and promoted inclusiveness.

Other priorities include ongoing dialogue with stakeholders, such as regulators.

Goy – a member of the Alfi board of directors since 2019 and vice chairperson since 2021 – said it was an “honour” to have become chairperson.
