Calvert Research and Management – a sustainable investment business belonging to Morgan Stanley Investment Management (MSIM) – has launched three active funds, variously investing in global equities, high yield bonds and US equities.
The funds are Article 8 under the EU sustainable investment disclosure rules and the Washington-based firm is targeting investors with interests in sustainable investment.
Vittorio Ambrogi, head of European distribution at MSIM said: “We continue to see strong investor demand for sustainable funds, which is why we are delighted to bring these strategies to the market.”
The three funds mean that there are now 11 Calvert funds available in Europe.
The funds are called the MS INVF Calvert Global Equity Fund, the MS INVF Calvert Global High Yield Bond Fund and the MS INVF Calvert US Equity Fund.
The active investment teams consider ESG and sustainability factors as an integral part of the research process, said the firm, and also look to engage company management to seek to influence their approach on financially material ESG issues.
