Investment consultant Mercer has created a new role in Dublin for a CIO and appointed Niall O’Sullivan to the role.
O’Sullivan has become global solutions chief investment officer and is responsible managing the implementation and execution of clients’ global investment strategies.
O’Sullivan previously worked at Mercers and rejoins the firm from Neuberger Berman where is was in a multi-strategy CIO role.
The appointment is one of three appointments for senior investment leaders.
Boston-based Michael Brand, previously at Cambridge Associate, became global head of real assets in February and David Boatwright, also based in Boston and previously and previously at State Street Global Advisors, joined Mercer as global investments head of technology strategy last year.
