Federated Hermes hires sustainability director for EM team

Federated Hermes has named Olivia Lankester as the responsible investing and sustainability director to its global emerging markets equities team.

Lankester joins the firm this week and reports to lead portfolio manager, Kunjal Gala.

She will be responsible for enhancing and communicating the firm’s vision for ESG integration at a portfolio level.  

Prior to joining Federated Hermes, Lankester was senior director, social impact and responsibility at Lego Group. She has also held a similar role at Monsoon Accessorize, and covered pharma, food, retail, ICT and emerging markets as associate director – governance and SRI at F&C Asset Management.
