Berson, former executive director of the Climate Bonds Initiative, led its global expansion across 20+ countries, mobilising the $100 trillion bond market for climate solutions.
Berson commented: “From net zero to nature solutions, water use to working conditions, sustainability factors are increasingly material to the future of food – and I look forward to working with the team to ensure investors are in a position to understand and act on these issues.”
Jeremy Coller, founder and chair of FAIRR, added: “We aim to harness the power of capital markets to build a more sustainable and equitable food system, one that can deliver food security without breaching planetary boundaries.”
