French asset manager Axa Investment Managers (Axa IM) has appointed Jérôme Broustra as head of global rates.
The appointment is a promotion for Broustra who was most recently head of investment specialists for fixed income and multi-asset strategies for the firm’s Core Investments platform.
Based in Paris, he will report to Marion le Morhedec, global head of fixed income.

In his new role, effective as of April, he will be responsible for setting Axa IM’s global rates strategy for institutional and third-party clients.
The appointment comes on the back of Axa IM publishing its annual results for 2023.
Despite what was described as “another challenging year for asset managers and investors”, the French firm saw net third-party inflows of €9 billion while assets under management reached €844 billion, down €1 billion in comparison to 2022.
