Axa Investment Managers has made two appointments within product development that are partially aimed at enhancing sustainability strategies.
Nicolas Deschamps, with the firm since 2005, is now global head of product and client strategy at Axa IM Core. Based in Paris, he reports to Hans Stoter, global head of Axa IM Core and member of the firm’s management board.
Stoter said: “Nicolas’s deep experience in product strategy as well as in marketing and distribution over all client segments will help us develop an attractive and innovative product range that is highly relevant for our clients.”

More recently at Axa IM Deschamps headed the development of the life and wealth management business at Axa France and was also global head of client group at Axa IM Select.
In his new role, the Axa IM Investment Institute also falls within his remit.
The firm has also appointed Jane Wadia as head of sustainability, Core products & clients, a newly created role. She will be responsible for leading sustainable product strategy and ensuring strategies fall in line with clients’ responsible investment (RI) plans.
Based in London, Wadia reports to Deschamps and works closely with Thomas Coudert who leads sustainability for the Core investment teams.
