Wealthtech platform Allfunds and investors’ ESG partner MainStreet Partners have launched a tool designed to expedite the creation and audit of Article 8 and 9 portfolios in compliance with the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR).
The tool, Sustainability Navigator, enables users to upload existing portfolios to receive detailed reports on sustainability metrics, including ESG ratings and taxonomy alignment.
Additionally, Investors can build custom portfolios in accordance with EU’s SFDR Article 8 and Article 9 frameworks, choosing from over 8,500 issuers. They can apply filters based on ESG screening practices, controversies, Principal Adverse Impacts and UN Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring portfolios match their sustainability objectives while accessing detailed ESG data for each issuer.
According to the providers, key features of the tool include data integration, real-time analysis and simulation and streamlined portfolio construction, empowering users to make informed decisions aligned with their sustainability goals.
EU SFDR sparks shift towards sustainability in private funds
Juan de Palacios, chief strategy and product officer at Allfunds, commented: “This undertaking aligns with our ambition to leverage MainStreet Partners’ sustainable data and expertise and integrate it into Allfunds’ one-stop-shop approach.”
Simone Gallo, MD at MainStreet Partners, added: “Together we have built a digital tool to automatise the main needs of several investors that want to build an Article 8 product or transform an Article 8 into an Article 9 product. Investors often ask how they build
and audit several sustainable universes using thousands of data points that speak the language of the SFDR framework, efficiently and cost-effectively. This new tool answers that question.”
