Amundi has added a fixed income fund to its Climate ETF range that aligns with the Paris Agreement.
The fund invests in investment grade euro corporate bonds and has an ongoing charge of 0.16%, making it the “lowest cost” euro corporate bond ETF aligned with the Paris Aligned Benchmark (PAB), the French asset manager said. It is the first bond exposure to be added to Amundi’s range of PAB ETFs.
Listed on the German Xetra exchange, the ETF is designed to reduce average greenhouse gas emissions by 50% compared to its investable universe with an additional 7% target of “year-on-year self-decarbonisation”.
All Amundi’s PAB ETFs are classified under article 9 of the EU’s Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR), the firm said.
Article 9 funds specifically have sustainable goals as their objective, such as investing in companies that are reducing their climate emissions.
The fund is called the Amundi iCPR Euro Corp Climate Paris Aligned PAB – Ucits ETF DR
