Value Partners launches its first Ucits fund

Chinese lanternsValue Partners has launched its first Ucits product, the Greater China Specialist fund. The fund is a sub-fund of the Value Partners Ireland Fund, a Dublin-domiciled umbrella company regulated by the Central Bank of Ireland. It aims to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in equity and equity-related securities listed on stock exchanges within the Asia Pacific region. The fund was launched last month. According to the latest fund fact sheet, 29% of the fund is still held in cash. Citi has been appointed as administrator. ©2012 Funds Europe
