Dutch asset manager Robeco has launched the Q1 Conservative Multi Asset fund, adding to the firm’s suite of multi asset products.
The fund aims for balanced returns combined with the volatility of defensive portfolios.
It will be managed by Klaas Smits and Shengsheng Zhang, who will work with the firm’s conservative equities and credits teams.
Smits and Zhang are also responsible Robeco’s global tactical asset allocation and its global diversified strategies.
The fund will be domiciled in Luxembourg and be available to investors across Robeco’s key markets in Europe.
Smits said that the starting point of the fund is to have a conservative “mindset”. It will invest globally across various asset classes but the focus is on capital preservation.
Robeco had €137 billion in assets under management as of September this year.
