People moves in Luxembourg – which most recently saw former Schroders manager Noel Fessey resurface at a third-party administration firm – continue apace as Mario Mantrisi is to join LuxFlag.
Mantrisi, who is a former executive board member at regulatory filing firm Kneip, will join LuxFlag, a labelling agency focused on responsible investment funds, as general manager in January 2018 and take over from Annemarie Arens, who will leave to pursue personal interests.
With Kneip support Mantrisi most recently co-founded Inreg, an “independent business expert community” focused on fund management regulation.
Last week Kneip itself announced new hires including that of former Invesco Europe head, Jean-Baptiste Douville de Franssu.
Thomas Seale, chairman of LuxFlag, said Mantrisi and Arens would work on a smooth handover.
Seale himself recently announced he would retire from his main job, chief executive of European Fund Administration, at the end of the year. Fessey will then take up the role.
Fessey was most recently with Schroders in Luxembourg and was global head of fund services.
This time last year, Mantrisi took part in a Funds Europe/Kneip webinar called PRIPPS: tackling the hard topics.
