Netherlands-based fund services firm Intertrust has made a raft of high-level appointments to its European and Hong Kong offices.
Christine Jacquemart (pictured) has been appointed as commercial director of fund services in Luxembourg. With over 20 years’ experience, Jacquemart previously worked with Pictet & Cie (Europe).
Harald Thul, meanwhile, has been promoted to the post of director of alternative investment services, also in Luxembourg. He joined Intertrust in 2013 after 14 years working at PwC.
Michael Johnson has been appointed head of funds in the Channel Islands. Previously head of fund services for the Channel Islands at BNP Paribas, Johnson has also worked as vice-president at Swiss Re Asset Management in London.
Joost Broekhuis has been appointed as executive director of capital markets and fund services at Intertrust’s headquarters in Amsterdam. Previously Broekhuis was business unit director of the private equity team for North America and joined Intertrust in 2011.
In Asia, James Donnan has been appointed as head of fund services at Intertrust’s Hong Kong office. He will oversee the delivery of services to Intertrust’s alternative fund clients and will be responsible for leading the group’s private equity strategy across the region.
Donnan was previously commercial director for Greater China with Intertrust, before which he spent 10 years with KPMG in Hong Kong, China and Australia, most recently as director in their financial services division.
