BMO installs head of investment trust sales

BMO Global Asset Management has promoted Alex Howe from within its existing sales team to become its new head of investment trust sales.

Howe will be responsible for overseeing growth of the investment trust range, which currently consists of 10 investment trust products. He will report to Rob Thorpe, BMO’s head of UK intermediary distribution.

Rob Thorpe said: “During the past year, Alex played a key part in ensuring all our investment trusts are well represented within the UK-intermediated marketplace.”

Howe joined the UK wholesale distribution team at BMO three years ago. Before this, he promoted mutual funds and investment funds at Schroders.
