Kneip, a software and regulatory reporting firm that employs 280 people globally, has been recognised for helping to further Luxembourg’s economic development.
The firm, founded in 1993 by chief executive Bob Kneip (pictured) whose art collection adorns the company’s Luxembourg offices, won the Flagship Award, which is in its ninth year and presented to IT firms that contribute most to Luxembourg’s local and international economic development.
Industry group, L’Association des Professionnels de la Société de l’Information (Apsi), makes the award and winners have to display technical leadership, innovation, dynamism and citizenship.
Apsi is a non-profit business association that works to develop the information technology sector in Luxembourg. Its membership includes prominent fintech firms.
After the award was presented on Monday night, Bob Kneip said: “We are pleased that our contribution to Luxembourg has been recognised. We see ourselves as one of the proud ambassadors of our country’s thriving technology sector around the globe.”
As well as Luxembourg, Kneip has offices in Belgium, France, Germany, Switzerland and the UK, and has about 420 global fund management clients.
