Amundi appoints Laurent Ducoin as head of European equities

European flagsAmundi asset management has appointed Laurent Ducoin as head of European equities. Ducoin replaces Olivier Baduel, previously head of European equities – stockpicking, and will report to Romain Boscher, global head of equities. In his new role, Ducoin will be based in Paris and responsible for a team of seven fund managers. Prior to joining Amundi, Ducoin was head of the European equity team and a fund manager at Carmignac from 2011, with responsibility for rebuilding the investment process of the team. Previously he worked as a fund manager at Blackrock in London from 2004, where he participated in the management of several pan-European and Swiss only-products. Between 2002 and 2004, he held the position of sell side financial analyst at CM-CIC Securities. Amundi has assets under management of over €850 billion. ©2015 funds europe
