Amundi appoints Laurent Ducoin as head of European equities

Amundi asset management has appointed Laurent Ducoin as head of European equities.

Ducoin replaces Olivier Baduel, previously head of European equities – stockpicking, and will report to Romain Boscher, global head of equities.

In his new role, Ducoin will be based in Paris and responsible for a team of seven fund managers.

Prior to joining Amundi, Ducoin was head of the European equity team and a fund manager at Carmignac from 2011, with responsibility for rebuilding the investment process of the team.

Previously he worked as a fund manager at Blackrock in London from 2004, where he participated in the management of several pan-European and Swiss only-products. Between 2002 and 2004, he held the position of sell side financial analyst at CM-CIC Securities.
