Annika is a climate transition analyst at Ninety One’s Sustainability team, focusing on advocacy, transition tlan assessment frameworks and corporate reporting. Formerly at SYSTEMIQ, she advised on sustainable systems change, accumulating seven years of experience guiding corporates and governments towards inclusive sustainability. In her last role, she provided energy and transition finance counsel for South Africa’s Just Energy Transition. Annika holds a Bachelor’s (Hons) in sustainable development from Stellenbosch University and a Master’s in engineering for sustainable development from Cambridge University.
