Mediolanum International Funds Limited (Mediolanum), the European asset management platform of the Mediolanum Banking Group, has appointed Simona Merzagora as senior business advisor for the German market.
Merzagora’s focus will be strengthening the partnerships with intermediaries and their financial advisors driving the firm’s support in the German market by leveraging solutions and services to financial advisors delivered in Italy and Spain.

Merzagora has more than 25 years of industry experience in international asset management and has held senior positions at Goldman Sachs Asset Management, NN Investment Partners and Deutsche Bank. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Economics from the London School of Economics.
She will work closely with Luca Matassino, chief business officer at Mediolanum.
