Sarasin & Partners, managing £18.2 billion in assets, has expanded its asset management team with two senior hires.
Alastair Baker, a multi-asset fund manager with 14 years of experience, joins from abrdn. He will work alongside Guy Monson on Sarasin’s target return strategies.
Cédric Phounpadith, the new head of investment risk, brings 13 years of experience from roles at HSBC Global Asset Management, Standard Life Investments and Vanguard.
Sarasin & Partners focuses on global trends like digitalisation, automation, ageing, evolving consumption and climate change for investment strategies.
The firm serves a diverse clientele, including charities, private clients, intermediaries and institutions.
