Polar Capital hires two technology analysts

Asset manager Polar Capital Holdings plc (Polar Capital) has hired two analysts for its global technology team. 

One of the analysts, Fred Holt, was a portfolio analyst on the global technology leaders and sustainable future technologies strategies at Janus Henderson Investors.

The other analyst, Lina Ghayor, was an equity research analyst on the media and internet team at Exane BNP Paribas.

Commenting on the appointments, Ben Rogoff, co-head of the technology team at Polar Capital, said: “These hires come at an exciting time for the technology sector following recent breakthroughs in artificial intelligence”. 

Iain Evans, global head of distribution at Polar Capital, added that technology has been at the core of Polar Capital since its launch in 2001.

Polar Capital is principally located in London and maintains offices in the UK, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, the US and China.
