Payden & Rygel bolsters Benelux and Nordics teams

Global investment firm Payden & Rygel has added to its Benelux and Nordic teams as part of an increased focus on Northern Europe.

The privately-owned firm has appointed Dennis Kwist to the newly-created role of senior vice-president, business development with responsibility for Northern Europe.

Kwist will be based in Payden’s London and Milan offices and will focus on promoting the firm’s Ucits funds and expanding the firm’s segregated account business and recruiting institutional clients.

Kwist joins Wellington Management where he was managing director and head of business development for Northern Europe.

“The Benelux and Nordic regions are important markets particularly at a time when rates are high, prompting heightened institutional interest in Payden’s extensive slate of investment products,” said Kwist.

I look forward to developing the wide range of relationships Payden has built in these countries over 25 years and to supporting the further development of our client base.”
