Ossiam promotes two 2018 joiners to partners

Ossiam, an affiliate of Natixis Investment Managers, has promoted two more of its staff – including the co-head of asset management – to partners.

Alexandre Duriez, co-head of investment management and research, and Aous Labbane, head of business development, become partners in the firm, which specialises in smart beta investments.

Duriez joined the firm in May 2018 from Barclays investment bank, where he had been a managing director responsible for global investment strategy trading since 2009. Duriez shares leadership of the portfolio management and research team with Tristan Perret.

Labbane has led business development at Ossiam since January 2018 and joined from Credit Suisse, where he was global head of structuring for fund-linked products. He had also established the bank’s systematic investment strategies division in Europe.
