Ocorian adds former JP Morgan man to Dublin fund administration business

A former JP Morgan hedge fund services leader has joined specialist fund administrator Ocorian.

Garrett Breen (pictured) becomes Ocorian’s head of global funds in Dublin and was previously head of hedge fund services at JP Morgan.

Specialist fund administrators have hired experts from larger bank-owned administrators in recent years as they seek to scale-up their fund services business for private equity firms.

Breen has experience in both the independent and bank-owned administration space, having previously been a founder of Quintillion and its head of fund administration.
