Northern Trust names new Guernsey head

Chicago-based asset manager Northern Trust has named Dave Sauvarin as head of its Guernsey business.

Sauvarin, who joined the company in 1995, was previously chief risk officer for Northern Trust in the Channel Islands.

He replaces Belinda Aspinall who is assuming a senior role in the company’s London office.

In his new role Sauvarin will report to Teresa Parker, president of Northern Trust in Europe, Middle East and Africa, and will be responsible for supporting the growth of Northern Trust’s business in the Channel Islands.

Northern Trust has $1.2 trillion (€0.98 trillion) in assets under management.
