Newton IM appoints head of UK institutional

Newton Investment Management has appointed Jenny Yoe to the new role of head of UK institutional. 

Yoe will oversee the fund manager’s sales strategy in the defined benefit and defined contribution pensions sector. 

She joins from State Street Global Advisors where she was managing director and head of UK and Ireland Institutional.

She previously held roles as head of UK institutional at River and Mercantile Asset Management, and director of UK distribution for AMG Limited.

Julian Lyne, chief commercial officer at Newton, said: “Whether it’s master trusts, independent trustees or OCIO’s [outsourced chief investment officers], the UK institutional market is undergoing a period of dramatic change.”
