Neuberger Berman appoints Matt Malloy as head of Emea

Neuberger Berman has appointed Matt Malloy as the new head of Emea, succeeding Dik van Lomwel, who transitioned to vice chairman, Emea, after leading the region since 2009.

Malloy, who joined Neuberger Berman in 2015, led the establishment of the insurance solutions business and later took charge of the global institutional efforts. Now based in London since last year, he will maintain these roles and take on additional responsibilities, pending regulatory approval and a smooth transition.

In his new role, van Lomwel will focus on supporting client relationships and advising firm regional leadership.

Malloy said: “The decade ahead will present new opportunities and many challenges for our clients given the volatile economic and geopolitical backdrop and I am confident we can continue to deliver differentiated solutions using our extensive cross-asset investment platform and global talent.”
