The net asset values of Irish-resident funds hit an all time high of €3.77 trillion at the end of September, driven by all but money market funds.
According to data from the Central Bank of Ireland, money market funds net asset value decreased in the third quarter of 2021 by 1.2%, while bond funds had the largest increase of 4%.
Other fund types increased between 2% and 3% during the period.
In bond, equity, mixed, and real estate funds, the majority of the net asset value increase was driven by investor inflows, while in hedge and other funds, it was due to positive revaluations.
