Fisch AM hires co-head of convertible bonds

Zurich-headquartered Fisch Asset Management has appointed Ivan Nikolov as co-head of convertible bonds, effective January 1, 2024.

Nikolov, alongside Thomas Fischli Rutz, will lead the firm’s convertible bond team, overseeing five strategies with a total volume of approximately CHF 2.5 billion across the convertible bond risk spectrum.

Nikolov, a senior portfolio manager at NN Investment Partners in London, with previous roles at Aberdeen Asset Management, brings expertise in managing convertible bond portfolios exceeding USD 2 billion. 

His career includes positions as a convertible bond trader at a hedge fund and a securities broker. A graduate of Oxford University with an MA and BA in economics and management, Nikolov is also a CFA charterholder.
