ETF firm Tabula appoints Italian country manager

London-based ETF provider Tabula Investment Management has appointed Franco Mancini as its Italian country manager.

Mancini will look to expand business among institutional investors in Italy and the Italian-speaking town of Lugano in Switzerland.

Tabula chief executive Michael John Lytle said Italy is a “vital” market for ETFs, with particular focus on fixed income exposure.

Mancini said: “The fixed income investment landscape is changing dramatically. Investors want greater liquidity, price transparency and innovation.”

He joins from Redhedge Asset Management, where he was responsible for business development. Mancini began his career on the eurobond trading desk of Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, before joining BNP Paribas in credit sales within the bank’s FICC department.

Tabula is an asset manager focused on passive fixed income funds.
