AXA IM Alts has promoted Louis Leveillé Nizerolle to head of transactions, France within its real assets platform.
Nizerolle, currently senior transactions manager, will replace Antoine Mesnage, who has been promoted to head of Australia for AXA IM Alts.
Nizerolle joined AXA IM Alts in 2012 and has 10 years of experience in transactions and asset management in the French market.
He played a key role in AXA IM Alts acquisition of Groupe Kley in 2019, a student housing and co-living operator.
Prior to joining the real assets team, he was responsible for the asset management of a €1.1 billion property portfolio. He will start his new role on 1 September.
Before joining AXA IM Alts, he was a business analyst at MAVILO Foncière.
Mesnage is relocating to Australia having spent 15 years at AXA IM Alts in France.
He will start his new role as head of Australia on 1 October. In Australia, he will spearhead AXA IM Alts’ next growth phase in the country as part of the company’s wider development ambitions in the APAC region.
John O’Driscoll, global CIO and head of investment (real assets) at AXA IM Alts, commented: “Louis Leveillé Nizerolle has a strong track record of sourcing and closing high-profile deal.”
“We have a high degree of confidence that under Louis’ leadership we can deliver in the French market, which is one of our priority global markets.”
Earlier this month, AXA IM Alts announced a new partnership with iCapital, as part of its plans to grow its investment offering in the private wealth segment.
AXA IM Alts’ wealth managers and high-net-worth clients will have access to private wealth offerings via iCapital’s white label solution as a result of the partnership.
