Funds Europe Awards 2024: who will champion private markets this year?
José Luis González Pastor commented: “Private equity is characterised by strong historical returns with long-term outperformance compared to public markets, as well as lower volatility and diversification benefits. This also makes it attractive for private investors. Together with LIQID, we are now making the asset class even more accessible.”
José Cosio, head of intermediary – Global ex-US at Neuberger Berman, added: “Demand for private market strategies remains high across retail and institutional channels. Investors continue to value portfolio diversification and reliable long-term sources of returns. We believe the extensive expertise of Neuberger Berman’s global private equity team can support a continuous pipeline of co-investment opportunities for our clients, enabling them to participate in a trend that, we feel, is here to stay.”
