Muysken for new Mercer alternatives role

Investment consultancy Mercer appointed Bill Muysken to the newly created role of chief investment officer for alternative alpha strategies within its investment management business.

As a result of governance challenges that have become widely recognised due to the global financial crisis, Mercer sees “substantial demand” from its clients for assistance in better managing their existing alternative investment exposures, said Rich Nuzum, global business leader for Mercer.
