Mirabaud AM hires deputy EM manager

Bryony Deuchars has been appointed as deputy portfolio manager for global emerging market equities at Mirabaud Asset Management.

Deuchars, who has around 15 years of experience in emerging markets, joins from Aviva Investors, where she was a lead portfolio manager and also led coverage of developing world consumer staples.

She reports to Daniel Tubbs, head of global emerging market equities, and the firm aims for Deuchars to strengthen its capability in Europe, Middle East and Africa (Emea), and also in Latin America. At Aviva Investors Deuchars had also covered Latin American financials.

Umberto Boccato, head of investments at Mirabaud AM, said Latin American and Emea equities remained under-researched.
