LGIM expands Europe and UK ‘solutions’ business

Legal & General Investment Management (LGIM) has created two roles in its solutions group, including a European position.

Mehdi Guissi joins as head of European bespoke solutions after three years at Lombard Odier Investment Management, where he was head of insurance and pension solutions.

He will work on structuring bespoke portfolio management services for large insurance, pension schemes and other financial clients.

The solutions group designs, executes and manages “holistic solutions” for clients including defined benefit pension schemes, defined contribution pension schemes and insurers.

Anna Troup joins as head of UK bespoke solutions and will ensure clients have access to the “best of LGIM”. She joins from BlueBay Asset Management, where she was a partner and a portfolio manager on the emerging markets desk.

The two will report to Graham Moles, head of portfolio solutions.
