Jupiter hires head of emerging markets strategy

Jupiter Asset Management has hired Ross Teverson in the newly created role of head of strategy, global emerging markets.

Teverson will join the firm in November after 15 years at Standard Life Investments, most recently as investment director of global emerging market equities.

His time at Standard Life included seven years spent in Hong Kong and a period as investment director of Asia Pacific equities.

Teverson will oversee Jupiter’s emerging market fund managers, Philip Ehrmann, Kathryn Langridge, Avinash Vazirani, Ben Surtees and Colin Croft.

In his most recent role, Teverson managed the Standard Life Investments GEM Equity Unconstrained Sicav.
