JLEN environmental assets group raises funds to finance environmental infrastructure opportunities

Environmental infrastructure fund JLEN Environmental Assets Group is planning to issue 60,139,202 shares at 101p per share to raise funds for environmental infrastructure opportunities.

Net proceeds will be used to pay off an existing credit facility, of which £109.8 million has been drawn, and to fund potential environmental infrastructure projects.

Issue price is at a 2.6% premium to the last published net asset value as at 30 September 2021, when they were 98.4p per share.

Applications will be made to the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) for admission of the shares on to the premium segment of the Official List and to the London Stock Exchange.

The firm’s investment strategy has delivered an annualised total shareholder return of 6.5% since its launch.

According to the firm, environmental Infrastructure sector opportunities range from that in anaerobic digestion, controlled environment, low carbon & energy efficiency and biomass.
