Hermes Investment Management has appointed Amit Mehta as director and senior Asia analyst in its emerging markets team.
Previously Mehta was a fintech mentoring and advisory consultant working with companies such as Startupbootcamp FinTech.
Based in London, Amit will report to Gary Greenberg, head of emerging markets.
In the newly-created role, Mehta will work in the team managing the Asian stocks in the portfolio, providing research, analysis and generating models on existing and potential areas of investment.
Hermes Investment Management has £30.8 billion (€35 billion) in assets under management.
