GAM expands fixed-income team

The London office of Swiss asset management firm GAM has appointed Owen Job as investment manager to work as part of the firm’s expanding absolute-return fixed-income team.

In the newly created role Job will have a particular focus on macro themes.

Job has spent over 12 years in investment management, mainly within the macro strategy space, and previously worked at Soros Fund Management in London.

The new hire brings GAM’s absolute-return fixed-income team to 19 spread across London and New York.

The team managed US$11 billion (€9.4 billion) of assets as at 30 September 2017.
