GAM appoints global head of marketing

Adam Brown has left Columbia Threadneedle Investments and becomes global head of marketing at Swiss asset manager, GAM.

Brown (pictured) joins GAM in July and will be based in London.

At Columbia Threadneedle he was responsible for leading marketing across all distribution channels in Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia.

Part of his role at GAM will be to increase brand awareness for the single master brand, GAM, following the termination of the company’s licence to use Julius Baer trademarks to market investment funds.

Brown will report to Tim Rainsford, group head of distribution, and he replaces Lynn Mah, who left GAM at the beginning of the year.
